The Rains of Castamere have been song and the slaughter began. Now we know how they dealt with their version, especially about the faith of Talisa Stark, born Maegyr.
Just as many novels to movies (or series), Game of Thrones introduces some great differences. Even if the rewriting may disappoint the readers of the books, most of them are necessary. The story need to stay consistent even trough the media difference. So, some parts need to be rewritten, some characters changed. Robb Stark did fall in love with a girl he married, breaking his pact to House Frey. But that wasn’t Talisa Maegyr.
Since the 9th episode of the 3rd season of Games of Thrones, The Rains of Castamere, was aired last Sunday, many of you may not have seen it yet, so be warned that this post contains major Spoiler !

Posted several days ago, this little trailer for the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who goes trough all the incarnations of the Doctor.
This trailer focuses on the prophecy, making us believe that we’ll found ourself on the fields of Trezalore, at the fall of the eleventh. Will the question be asked ? Will the answer be given ?
On November 12th 2012, a popular petition asked for the construction of a Death Star. At the time of this post, 34,435 people have signed the petition. There are good purposes listed for this construction : engineering, job creation, space exploration…
The White House responded and unfortunately, there will be no such project. The main reasons are the estimated cost (just as lowering the deficit can’t afford a $850,000,000,000,000,000 project…), especially with such a vulnerability.
But the most reassuring is that the government does not support planet blow up !
The response by itself is worth reading. Maybe that we are not ready to see a full scale Death Star, but that is for a good reason. Read the petition and the anser.
Long awaited by its fans, The Hobbit, prelude to the Lord of the Rings, is finally coming to a theater near your. Released last night, the trailer invites us for new adventures in Middle Earth. Are you ready for a journey there and back again ?
