Disneyland Paris LEGO Store opening delayed

For the latest information about the LEGO Store opening in Disneyland Village, see my December mini build post.

Several days ago, I reported the opening date of the next LEGO Store near Paris. That event was announced on the September’s LEGO newsletter. It is very exciting as this is supposed to be the biggest LEGO Store near Paris with a huge Showroom, near the greatest happiness and dream factory in the world.

Unfortunately, that opening is delayed due to an accident on the site.

In September, at the LEGO Store, we could have had expected something on the back to school theme. No, LEGO is extending our holidays. First with the mini build, then with the free gift. This month, the mini build is a nice pirate with a fancy hat and a peg leg.

From the LEGO’s Facebook page, this is now official. The Minifigures Series 11 is coming, officially starting September 1st. So, this list is now official.

June mini build at the Lego Store

New month, new minibuild at the Lego Store. This month, Geekid built a fisherman.

This is a big scale model. There are 38 pieces, mostly bricks and plates. This is not what Geekid is accustomed to, but he enjoyed the final model.

Aside of the mini build, this was a good day to go to the Lego Store.

If you have a Lego Store near you, you certainly know about the Mini Build. This is a monthly event, the day when it takes place depend on your local Lego Store schedule. Children are invite to build a specially designed model and bring it home free. This April, the build was a sheep and a lamb.

Lego advent calendars 2012

So here we are at Christmas Eve. All advent calendar windows have been opened and we finally have the whole set. This is the right time for an overview of the entire set. Of course, you may have already followed the day to day review on other sites, but it is also nice to see the entire set offered.

Each year, you can get advent calendars from Lego. Those are boxes with a windows to open each day of December until Christmas. Each windows contains some bricks which are a simple model. This year, you could choose between three Lego themes: City, Star Wars and friends.

The first French LEGO Store opens near Paris.

This article is also available in french.

As expected, the first french LEGO Store opened on october the 18th in the city of Levallois-Perret, north west of Paris. The mall So Ouest in which the store is located is not close to the touristic locations. If you are not used to the public transportation in Paris, you should double check the web site of the mall before trying to get there, especially to get the best directions.
